Boss 338 wheels offer a classic power look at a great value. I don’t typically showcase individual models, but the Boss 338 wheels are one of my top selling models and a personal favorite. So – I thought I’d break the mold and put all the information about them in one place.

Background Information
Boss Motorsports is owned by American Eagle Wheel Corporation – the oldest privately held and family owned corporation in the industry. All Boss rims are manufactured in the USA, and carry a manufacturer warranty. The 338 wheels come in chrome, black, and gray finishes, and are made in 18″x8″, 18″x9.5″, 20″x8.5″, and 20″x10″ sizes. Each size is produced with a number of different offsets. All of the Boss 338 wheels have a load rating of 1580 lbs and use acorn style lugs.
There have been three versions of the Boss 338 produced to date. Revisions to the the first two versions were minor changes to the back of the wheel in order to accommodate a larger hub. According to my contacts at Boss, a fourth generation 338 will be released sometime in 2010.
