1. DX4 7S, Falken Wildpeak AT3W, ReadyLIFT Leveling Kit
We'll start off our summer build list with the DX4 7S wrapped in a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. The DX4 7S offers a very rugged looking design that will pull together any off-road-oriented build. The 7S offers a split 7-spoke design with a simulated bead lock around the wheel. This all pulls together as a simple, yet aggressive looking style that a lot of off-road enthusiasts crave.
The Falken Wildpeak AT3W has stirred up quite a following in the off-road scene. This an all-terrain tire that will give you the capability that you need when hitting the trails without sacrificing a ton of road noise and looks. This is perfect for someone who occasionally goes through some rough terrain that wants a tire that will give the appearance of something much more aggressive while still maintaining daily drivability.
Finally, we paired this wheel and tire combo to a ReadyLIFT leveling kit. This allows the truck to get a slight bump in height at the front to sit level with the rear. If you didn't already know, trucks typically come from the factory with the rear sitting slightly higher than the front. The reason for this is so that when the truck is under load, it will actually sit level. The leveling kit bumps the front up to make it sit even without load.
2. Moto Metal MO970, Nitto Ridge Grappler, BDS 6 inch Suspension Lift
Arguably the most popular off-road truck wheel, the Moto Metal MO970 has been one of the best selling truck wheels we've ever offered. This is a solid 8 spoke design that comes in a variety of finishes and sizes. The reason this wheel is so popular is thanks to its affordable price and having the styling to compliment both off-road and show truck builds equally. If you need a wheel that can do it all, definitely check out the Moto Metal MO970.
Wrapped around the MO970, we have the Nitto Ridge Grappler. A staple in today's off-road scene, the Nitto Ridge Grappler has proven time and time again to be amongst some of the greatest hybrid tires ever created. The Ridge Grappler combines the off-road performance and extreme styling of a mud tire with the comfort and livability of an all-terrain tire. This allows the Ridge Grappler to dominate both the road and the trails all for a fantastic price. We don't see the Nitto Ridge Grappler popularity slowing down any time soon.
Finally, we chose to run a BDS 6 Inch Suspension Lift with our wheel and tire setup. BDS Suspension has been creating some of the highest quality lift kits on the market. Backed by tons of research and development, the 6-inch lift will give you the aggressive height you desire as well as the performance that you need.
